Price and delivery method is based on total weight.These pumps are not ordinary aquarium pumps as they draw air in at the same point they draw in water, not where water leaves the pump like venturi systems. Therefore the air is passed trough the impeller and shredded into the water making for an excellent, truly oxygenating effect. The size of the bubbles can be adjusted by altering the amount of air which is drawn in and each pump is perfect for driving a small moving bed filter which is much quieter than driving it from an air pump where the bubbles would be bigger.
The 320 litre per hour pump is capable of giving oxygenating effect down to 12" (30cm) deep.
The 450 litre per hour pump is capable of giving oxygenating effect down to 18" (45cm) deep.
For deeper tanks the pumps will still give oxygenating effect if air is pumped in from a standard air pump.
