Approx. 3/4" (20mm) thick and 20ppi this carbon pad will help to remove pollutants from the water.

Ideally the carbon pad would be last in the filter system as the filter should run from Mechanical (foams and fine pad) to Biological (Biohome filter media) to Chemical (carbon / carbon pad).

The activated carbon on the pad lasts for approx. 8 weeks but will function as a normal mechanical pad after the carbon has expired.

As each pad is approx. 8.25" (210mm) wide it will fit into any canister filter tray when cut to size.
